The World Sefarad Congress Foundation is the official promotor and organizer of the conference. The event will take place in Barcelona, Spain from 14 to 17 of October, 2002, in the Palace of Congresses (capacity: over 1500 persons).

The organization of the Congress counts on the support of an important executive and academic committees. They are responsable for defining the program, looking after details and converting this into a successful event.

The human resources of both committees have proved exceptional in the organization of such events.

The organization will also offer an optional visit to Girona, Toledo and Cordoba -historic jewish cities with Sephardic character and heritage. Important academic and social events will be programmed there.

The Congress will be presided by important figures from Spain and Israel. Invited guests will represent the cultural, scientific, art, economical and political world.
