The
World Sefarad Congress aim to be the Bridge Across
the Centuries, which will unify over 1300 years of
the history of these Spaniards of a jewish faith,
who wherever they went, they preserved their
culture, their language and their traditions;
eventually representing an important social,
cultural and economic force, present all over the
world.
The principal objective of this
Congress is to establish a debate on sensitive subjects
concerning Jewish Legacy: language and traditions.
Therefore, improving the existing relationships
among Sephardic communities the world over.
The World Sefarad Congress in Barcelona, Spain
will take place from October 14 to 17, 2002.
Relevant personalities and researchers will be
coming together to structure a balance between the
past, and, an extraordinarily promising future.
This global meeting of communities with common
roots will create an atmosphere for the formation
of the International Institute for Strategic
Studies and Sephardic Cooperation.
