"Religious influence over the preservation of the Sephardic identity"

Received Messages

Georgy Cohen, from USA:
It is impossible to separate between the Sepharadic identity to the religion, we can se from the various community that the religion is what kept the Sepharadies as Sepharadies and helped to keep their identities, with out the religion we could not have talked about this community at all.

Salaman Kopel, from Canada:
The Sepharadies are Jewish from the first place, this is how we see our selves and if it was not for the religion our past would have been disappeared.

Michelle Ha Rahman, from France:
Many of the sepharadies assimilated their daily life costumes to the ones of their neighbors, they became part of their community and where only distinguished thanks to one factor-their religious identity.
